Fyodor D is a free jazz and improvisation project, that has been exploring the
connections between reeds and percussions since 2005.

The new trio version with Sergio Prada on guitar is a surprising bassless ensamble, with
lively and dynamic music as a result, that delves into creative and research music,
as well as into an open confrontation with the history of free music.

Rhythmic interplay, dynamics and sound research play an important role in our music,
both on free improvisations and on the reelaboration of the music of great creative
musicians (Ornette Coleman, William Parker, Sam Rivers and the Art Ensemble of
Chicago).
